Case study on how cors, Inc provided recruiting support for a nationwide pharmacy benefit manager

Problem:

Our client, one of the nations largest pharmacy benefit managers, required rapid recruiting support for filling pharmacist openings as part of a large-scale tactical buildup.  Although the client had a recruiting structure in place, the hiring requirements exceeded their bandwidth capabilities.  In addition, the client needed research-based data about the competitive marketplace, their value proposition and opportunity versus competitors offerings, and their reputation.  The client required assistance for multiple pharmacist positions spanning a five state area.

Implementation:

cors, Inc was contracted by the client to quickly find qualified pharmacists to support their mail order/online fulfillment centers.  Retail pharmacies were the primary target.  Qualified interested passive candidates were routed to the clients recruiting staff for handling through the hiring process.  Research-based questions were presented to each candidate to collect comparative data on the clients compensation plan and marketplace reputation.  This information was compiled and shared with the client.

Results:
cors was able to achieve outstanding results.  cors-presented candidates were an excellent match for the clients specifications and the hiring initiative was a success.  In addition to the presentation of candidates, cors also provided the client executive-level research data about their position in the marketplace as well as comparative data regarding their compensation plan versus the industry.  As a result of this highly successful engagement, the client was able to reduce their dependency on in-house contract recruiting staff.  cors expertise was also utilized to provide industry-wide supply chain analysis as well as recruiting and research support for other positions, including highly specialized, executive level opportunities.
